Red pac man 99 plus#
Like other games from the "99" series, the player can change their strategy by using the "letter buttons" (XYAB) and the right joy-stick to target players under different conditions and apply powers to the player.Ĭontrol settings for these actions, plus movement and vibration, can be changed in Button Settings. New sleeping ghosts are spawned for every Fruit eaten. Once a Power Pellet is eaten, the sleeping ghosts will turn into normal frightened Ghosts and can be eaten to rapidly generate Jammer Pac-Man. Sleeping Ghosts return, and will automatically follow another ghost when touched.

Red Jammer Pac-Man can only be despawned by eating a Fruit in the center of the screen. If the game progresses long enough, Red Jammer Pac-Man spawn on the maze and are slower than their white counterparts, but instantly kill the player upon touch.

They are sent to other players by eating Vulnerable Ghosts (referred to as "Frightened Ghosts" in-game), and can be subdued by eating a Power Pellet to quickly despawn them. Jammer Pac-Man are new enemies that join the Ghosts on the maze and chase down Pac-Man, slowing him down upon contact. However, there are chances of having every dot (except for the very middle of the maze) or only Power Pellets, the latter granting an immediate speed boost. The locations of every Pac-Dot vary between each regeneration, missing a corner most of the time. Clearing the maze of all its Pac-Dots (excluding Power Pellets) increases your speed, which can max out to ten. Each player, with only one life, is confined to their own maze and must clear out Pac-Dots in addition to avoiding the Ghosts, as in the original. The gameplay is similar to the original Pac-Man, where Pac-Man is in a maze and has to run from Blinky, Pinky, Inky and Clyde.
